Dr. Starr Solomon is an assistant professor of sociology and criminology at Kent State University. She earned her PhD from the University of Nebraska Omaha School of Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2018. Her current research uses experimental survey designs to explore how police behavior impacts perceptions of police legitimacy.
